Veronica Anita Nichols
July 1, 1954 – June 13, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mother, Veronica Anita Nichols on June 13, 2023, while in her home in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Veronica is survived by her wonderful loving husband of 34 years, Donald Nichols; children, Leah (Carmelo), Alan, Evan, Gary, Raymond and Ashley; grandchildren, Ocean, Jamie, Brandon, Kylie, Anthony, Kyla, Paul, Julie, Michelle and Xavier; great-grandchildren, Dillon and Nathaniel; as well as many close friends and extended family members.
She is predeceased by her late beloved son, Michell Renouf.
Our Mother’s hugs meant the world. Nobody else held us so tight or made us feel so right. No one’s eyes shone so bright with love for us as our Mother’s, who is now high above with God.
The world lost an incredible loving Mother, Wife, and Friend, to a health complication. She loved us unconditionally and it is with great sadness that we must say goodbye.
Rest Easy Mom.
A Visitation will be held on Monday June 26, 2023, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. at Fort McMurray Funeral Home, 225-B MacDonald Crescent, Fort McMurray Alberta.

Out of a misty dream
Our path emerges for a while, then closes
Within a dream.”
