It is with tremendous sadness we announce the passing of Theresa Marie Marcel Boucher, on September 28, 2023, at the age of 15, in Red Deer, Alberta.
Theresa was a vibrant young woman with an infectious smile. She was incredibly friendly, caring, and insightful. She was always ready and willing to chat with anyone and everyone.
At times she was a bit of a jokester, her sense of humor was quite mature for her age. She had a passion for learning, in both school and about her own culture. She loved badminton, walking, swimming, and beading. She also enjoyed thriller movies and books. She absolutely loved to read. When she wasn’t reading or visiting friends and family, she was creating art and writing phenomenal poetry.
Theresa often spoke about her siblings and family with great adoration.
She loved her friends and family deeply they meant the world to her.
She will be dearly missed and remembered as an amazing friend, sister, daughter, cousin, auntie, granddaughter, artist, and poet.
A Wake will be held on, Friday, October 13, 2023, starting at 2:00 p.m. through to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Fort McKay Elder’s Centre.
A Funeral Service will follow the Wake at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the St Julien Church.
My name is Kaisha and Theresa was a very good friend of mine. We were going to the same school where i saw her just a couple days before monday when I found out. I was absolutely broken. Theresa and I have struggled with similar things and I always worried about her. We both just got back from a treatment based confinment progrem begining of Septemeber. She had such a talent with drawing, I have a scetch she drew of me. I really do miss her, she was the sweetest human ever. When I went back to school that day, teachers had asked my mom to pick me up because they knew it would be super hard for me. With her struggles, I would often safety plan with her because I always wanted her to be safe. Theresa was just a spark of joy in my life and many others, everyone will miss her deeply. I am so sorry to her family and I hope they are doing okay. I cant imagine the pain they are going through. Theresas memory will live on forever. We all miss you Theresa <3

Hi my name is Ashlin me and Theresa went to middle school together she had a bright smile and The Best personality she was one of my only friends and I’ll miss her dearly the day I found out My heart dropped and I cried even tho Theresa was older then me She always made me feel Like I mattered I’ll miss you Theresa Forever ilysm❤️🕊️
