On Friday, August 26, 2022, Mr. Martin Morrison of Fort McMurray passed away at the age of 63 years.
Martin is survived by his wife, Sharlene Bello; children, Amber Morgan, and Mackenzie Luke Morrison; son-in-law, Ryan Morgan; siblings, Julia Lindsay, Peter Morrison, and Stephen Morrison; grandchildren, Emily Morgan, and Christopher Morgan; nephews and nieces, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, David, Andrew, James, Michael, and Oscar.
He was predeceased by his parents, Trevor Walter Morrison, and Iris Mary (Youngjohns) Morrison.
Martin was born December 14, 1958. He worked at Syncrude Ltd near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Martin is a loving husband, a devoted father, and a good friend. He loved traveling to the Philippines. He was a hard-working man that loved to fix things and meet new people. He loves his wife and son so much as he always made sure that he provided everything for them. Martin is one of the good people in and out. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
For those who wish to pay their respects, a Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Fort McMurray Funeral Home, 225-B MacDonald Crescent, Fort McMurray, Alberta. Cremation to follow.
Sorry to heard about your loss, I had the privilege of working with Marty for a number of years at Syncrude, we had lots of laughs together, he was a great man to work with and will be truly missed.
