Margaret “Girlie” Vermillion

1940 – 2023

        It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret “Girlie” Vermillion on March 28, 2023.

        She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Jay) Schmitz: son, Vince Vermillion (Brenda): sister, Patsy Tuccaro (Gilbert): brother, Billy Joe Takaro (Geraldine: grandchildren, Nicole Kaskamin, Katy Jagt, Emily Maurette: as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

        Girlie was predeceased by her mother, Albina Tuccaro: father, Howard Wylie: brother, Michael Cardinal: uncles, Victor (Florance) Tuccaro, Leo Tuccaro, Jimmy Tuccaro: and aunt, Florestine (Albert) Kaskamin.

        Girlie was a loving mother who greatly enjoyed traveling the world with her family. She will be deeply missed.

        A Wake will be held on Friday March 31, 2023, at her residence in Fort Chipewyan, starting at approximately 7:00pm.

        Following the Wake Girlie will travel to Edmonton where cremation will take place.
