Justin Wells
January 16, 1996 – September 22, 2022
It is with great sadness and broken hearts, that we the family of Justin Wells announce his sudden passing on September 22nd, 2022, in Fort McMurray, Alberta at the young age of 26.
Born in Kitchener ON, Justin was the son of Sonia Milley, Miles Bowers and Shawn (Shaheena) Wells. Justin was also like a son to his father-in-law David Kendell. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law Gail Kendell as well as a wide circle of aunts, uncles and loved ones.
He leaves to mourn, with many fond and precious memories, his loving fiancé, Alexis Legge. He was a loving, devoted father to his 5 month old son, Logan Wells. Justin will also be fondly remembered by his grandparents, Ray and Nellie Milley, Hilda and Joe Tobin, Lloyd Rose, Christina Kendell and Sheila Legge; uncles and aunts, Brian Milley, Rick Milley, Sterling (Patsy) Milley, Paul Milley, Inez (Abe) Klassen, Lloyd Rose Jr, Charlie Rose, Tony (Darlene) Legge, Jane (John) Legge and Kenny (Lisa) Legge. Justin will be sadly missed by his brothers, Errol Singh and Aaron Bowers; and sisters, Olivia Singh, Miranda Bowers and Kayla (Corey) Cornish. He will also be greatly missed by his niece and nephew, Madison and Bryson Cornish. Justin will be greatly remembered by his cousins, Lucas and Connor Milley, Anthony and Cameron Coles, and Nicole McFatridge. He also leaves to mourn many friends and extended family.
Justin will always be remembered by his luscious curly locks, loudness, love for the outdoors and his high adrenaline, he was always up for any and all shenanigans. One of his favourite sayings was “It’s not the miles per gallon, it’s the smiles per gallon”. Justin was a selfless person, always lending a helping hand and there for anyone who needed him, with his heart of gold.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone for the visits, calls, messages of condolences and other caring acts shown to us during this time of devastating sorrow – your kindness will never be forgotten.
Out of respect for what we believe Justin would have wanted, Cremation and Funeral arrangements were in the care of Fort McMurray Funeral Home.
