Jean Rene Desforges

March 3, 1945 – June 6, 2022

Unseen, unheard but always near.

Still loved, Still missed and very dear.”

Mr. Jean Rene Desforges, of Fort McMurray Alberta, passed on Sunday June 5, 2022 in the Northern Lights Hospital.

Jean was born in Ontario and was a Carpenter by trade, a skill which he learned from his father. He spent most of his career building houses and completing fine carpentry work. Jean never married but had a family of 5 sisters, 4 brothers and many nieces and nephews out east. Jean loved to spend time outdoors fishing, hunting and camping. Jean loved to play the guitar and enjoyed gardening.

                A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on July 15, 2022, at Fort McMurray Funeral Home, 225-B MacDonald Cres, Fort McMurray.

                Burial will follow the Funeral Service in the Wood Buffalo Cemetery.
